This is  how I feel about today being Friday! I can't wait for work to be over so I can PLAY!

Once upon a time there was a princess and her name was Renee... and she was the fairest manicurist in the land. And she worked with the lovely Queen Donna.

That's right, I was a manicurist years ago. I had wanted to become a hairdresser and was given the advice to go to manicure school before Beauty school to see if I liked the industry. Good advice since I was coming out of corporate America. So, I went to six weeks of training, got certified and worked at Beaucage on Newbury Street in Boston for one year before I started the career I have now.

The best part was that I was fortunate enough to work with (and become friends with) Boston's Best Manicurist, Donna Charloff. She is a true legend in Boston and she has since moved on the be the corporate trainer for Miniluxe. http://www.miniluxe.com

This weekend I am going to check out Miniluxe. I am going to get some services on Saturday and I will be sure to let you know how it is.
